Our Mission
The mission of the Friends of Slinger Dog Park is to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable place where dogs can run, play, and socialize while bringing our community together.
What started as a simple dream—a dog park for the Village of Slinger—grew into something much bigger. A group of local volunteers came together with a shared vision and a determination to make that dream a reality. Through hard work, community support, fundraising, and countless hours of dedication, the Calvin & Joyce Walters Dog Park was born.
Our mission now is to protect, maintain, and improve this special place for generations of dogs and their families to enjoy. We believe a great dog park is more than just a place to play—it is a place where friendships are made, neighbors connect, and our community grows stronger together.
